OYY Little "Z" gorgeous young mare offered for sale !

OYY Little "Z" - she loves to pose and it seems this is her favorite stance.

Whichever way she chooses to stand and look..
"Z" is beautiful !

"Z" has had a lot of ground work done, ground driving, line driving, obstacle work... then for one reason or another- she was 'put out to pasture' in a sense, due to weather, other commitments with shows, etc. Recently, we have been bringing her out again to see what she remembers and she is pretty pleased about it. She is so anxious to please and have a job. She is 15 hands or a tad more at coming 4 years old.

Recently, "Z" experienced two major graduations of sorts -- Little "Z" moved in with the 'big' girls on the farm - these are a tough group; well bonded, grown ups, lesson horses and forever mares. They accepted her into the fold -- so her status went up a few notches immediately, along with her self esteem.

Her next big initiation ceremony was her foray down the road. "Z" has had lots of experience up around the farm and surely plenty in the indoor, all kinds of obstacles in the course we have set up.. but traveling down the road, off the farm into the BIG world, wow - is the reaction we usually get. It's as though they are saying - 'I have been so waiting to see what all those other horses have a chance to experience when I see them trot off.'

She got a chance to see and hear traffic, mailboxes, road signs

"Z" was interested, enthusiastic and still always listening to her handler's cues and communications.

Now, she is most curious and wanting to see more !

"Z" has accepted weight on her back with no major complaints... Mounted both sides, slid off her back - had her move off with weight..

Once the saddle was on - she was - once again- fine with the stirrups slapped.. licking and mouthing. She's ready to be ridden. She's had enough for today so next time !

OYY Little "Z" is maternal sister to OYY Elektra. They do not resemble one another much physically, but the same temperament and dependability is there. "Z" is a bit more reserved and discriminating than her sister - who is immediate best friends with whomever.

This is Ahmet, dam to "Z" and Elektra. She is a nice stout sporty 15.1 hand mare. Ahmet has some nice curly bloodlines - and for Top O' The Hill Farm - she is 3rd generation, making "Z" 4th generation.

Mead's Chocolate Chip is sire to "Z" and grand-sire to Elektra.

Chip has quite an impressive list of offspring - both children and grand-children ! Plus he's a super horse in his own right.. multi-purpose, can-do fellow with an absolutely outstanding disposition.

Two short video's made recently of Little "Z"

She's such a willing sweetheart !

More video's of our queen of the big screen...

"Z" is registered in three registries - ABC, ICHO, and CSI. I will be pleased to nominate her for awards with the Curly Sporthorse International Registry, if her new owner wishes to show.

She is going to make someone very happy !! She has the bloodlines and the beauty to turn heads in the show ring - and the calm disposition to make a super trail horse -- the loving nature to make a dependable friend for life !! What more could you want in a horse ?

Enjoy ~

Before I even got to the fact that Chip was her sire, I knew! She resembles a more refined version of Dream. She doesn't have the 1/4 Suffolk Punch, so she would be more refined! In '08 when I entered Dream in a USDF Sporthorse Breeders show, the judge, Peter Hansen said he wished he had horses like her for 3 of his students, because she was a "perfect amateur's horse." She has a great mind and will easily earn 8's in gaits for a good attentive rider." Z's disposition sounds exactly like Dream's. Once you become "her person" you KNOW you are special, because she demonstrates her affection all the time, but just to me! Laurie
